Getting started with Asterune

Your Asterune journey starts here. This guide walks you through account creation, profile setup, and your first steps on the platform.

Creating your account

  1. Visit asterune.com/register.
  2. Enter your email address, choose a strong password, and fill out the other required fields.
  3. You're all set! You should verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox. This helps secure your account and ensures you receive important notifications.

Your account is ready to use, and you can start exploring Asterune right away.

Setting up your profile

Head to User Settings → Profile to customise how others see you:

  • Display name: The name shown in channels and direct messages.
  • Profile picture: Upload an image (recommended size: 512×512 px), or make your profile picture derived from your avatar.
  • About me: A short bio visible on your profile card.
  • Country: Select your country to help others find you.

Joining your first game

  1. Click on the Games tab in the navigation bar.
  2. Browse the list of available games or use the search bar to find a specific title.
  3. Click on a game to view its details.
  4. Click "Play" to join the game. If it's your first time playing, you may need to download the game client. You'll be guided through the installation process.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a phone number to sign up? No, however, providing a phone number can enhance your account security and help with account recovery.

Can I change my username later? Yes. Go to User Settings → Profile at any time. A fee of 500T$ (T$ is Asterune's virtual currency) applies for each username change.

Is Asterune free? Yes. Core features are free for everyone. Optional premium features are available through Asterune Plus.
