Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Asterune. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Asterune.
1. Who we are

References to "Solarius", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to Solarius B.V. References to "Asterune" refer to the platform, services, and products we provide. References to "you" or "your" refer to the person or entity using Asterune.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Asterune. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
If you are a parent or guardian permitting a minor to use Asterune, you accept full responsibility for:
- Ensuring the minor's use complies with these Terms
- Supervising the minor's activity on the platform
- Any purchases made on the minor's account
We reserve the right to verify age where required by law and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
3. Your account
3.1 Registration
To access most features of Asterune you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration, including your real date of birth, and to keep this information up to date.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at Solarius support if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
3.3 One account per person
You may not create or use more than one account. Creating additional accounts to evade a suspension or ban is strictly prohibited and will result in the permanent termination of all associated accounts.
3.4 Account transfers
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Buying, selling, or gifting accounts to other users is prohibited.
There are certain exceptions for account transfers in the case of deceased users, where a verified immediate family member may request transfer of the account to their name. See the Account transfers for deceased users page for details.
3.5 Phone number verification
Certain features of Asterune β including voice chat β require you to verify a phone number. By completing phone verification, you confirm that you are the authorised user of the number provided and that the number is accurate. You may not verify a phone number belonging to another person.
Verified phone numbers are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3.6 Identity verification
In some cases, we may require you to complete identity verification to access certain features or to resolve specific issues. This may involve submitting a government-issued ID or other documentation. See our Identity Verification page for more information.
4. Use of Asterune
4.1 Permitted use
You may use Asterune for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and our Community Guidelines. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Asterune for this purpose.
4.2 Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Use Asterune for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Asterune or its underlying systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of Asterune
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with Asterune without our prior written consent
- Use voice chat to harass, threaten, abuse, or transmit hate speech or other harmful content toward any person
- Engage in any conduct prohibited by our Community Guidelines
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal or administrative action against anyone who violates these provisions.

5. User-generated content
5.1 Your content
Asterune allows users to create, upload, and share content including avatars, games, assets, and other creative works ("User Content"). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content.
5.2 License to Solarius
By submitting User Content to Asterune, you grant Solarius B.V. a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and adapt your User Content solely for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting Asterune. This license ends when you delete your User Content or close your account, except where your content has been shared with others and has not been deleted by them.
5.3 Your responsibility
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content
- Your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines
We do not assume responsibility for User Content and reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, without notice.
5.4 Voice communications
Voice chat is a real-time communication feature available to users who have completed phone number verification. By using voice chat, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Voice chat sessions are recorded and retained for 30 days for moderation and platform safety purposes.
- Recordings may be processed by automated systems to detect abusive content, hate speech, or other violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
- Recordings may be reviewed by a member of our moderation team where an automated system flags a potential violation or in response to a report submitted by another user.
- All other participants in a voice chat session are subject to the same recording conditions. By initiating or joining a voice chat session, you acknowledge that the session is being recorded.
Recordings are used solely for moderation purposes and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with third parties outside of the processors named in that policy.
6. Virtual currency and purchases
6.1 Runes
Asterune's in-platform currency, Runes, can be purchased with real money and used to obtain virtual items and other in-platform content. Runes have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged outside of Asterune's official systems. See our Developer exchange page for information on how creators can exchange earned Runes for real-world currency.
6.2 Luminary
Luminary is Asterune's subscription membership, offering enhanced features and benefits. Luminary subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
6.3 No real-world value
All virtual items, currency, and in-platform content are licensed to you, not sold. You acquire a limited, non-transferable right to use these items within Asterune. You have no property rights in any virtual goods and they may be modified, removed, or discontinued at our discretion.
6.4 Refunds
Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy. You accept that digital content made available immediately upon purchase may not be eligible for cancellation under standard EU consumer withdrawal rights, where you have given your express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal.
6.5 Chargebacks and fraud
Fraudulent chargebacks and payment fraud are violations of these Terms. Filing a chargeback for a legitimate purchase may result in immediate account suspension. See our Chargebacks and fraud page for full details.
7. Intellectual property
All content provided by Solarius B.V. on Asterune β including but not limited to software, graphics, text, logos, and platform design β is the property of Solarius B.V. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Solarius-owned content without our prior written permission.
8. Termination
8.1 Termination by you
You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting Solarius support. Closing your account will result in the permanent deletion of your profile, User Content, Runes, and any other associated data, subject to our data retention obligations.
8.2 Termination by Solarius
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or any applicable law. In cases of serious violations β including illegal activity, fraud, or content involving minors β termination will be immediate and may be accompanied by a report to the relevant authorities.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice before terminating an account for reasons other than serious violations.
8.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your license to use Asterune is immediately revoked. Any Runes, virtual items, or subscription time remaining on your account will be forfeited without compensation, except where required otherwise by applicable law.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
9.1 Disclaimer of warranties
Asterune is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Asterune will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9.2 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Solarius B.V. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages β including loss of profits, data, or goodwill β arising out of or in connection with your use of Asterune, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Asterune shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Solarius in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) β¬100.
9.3 Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable mandatory law, including statutory consumer rights under Dutch law or EU consumer protection legislation. If you are a consumer resident in a country whose mandatory laws provide you with greater protections than those set out here, those protections are not waived by these Terms.
10. Dispute resolution
10.1 Informal resolution
We encourage you to contact us at Solarius support before initiating any formal dispute. Many issues can be resolved quickly and informally, and we commit to responding in good faith.
10.2 Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10.3 Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
10.4 EU online dispute resolution
If you are an EU consumer, you may also submit a complaint through the European Commission's Consumer Redress platform at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. Our contact address for ODR purposes is [email protected].
10.5 No class actions
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to resolve disputes with Solarius on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify you via email or an in-platform notice. Your continued use of Asterune after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using Asterune and may close your account.
12. Miscellaneous
12.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by Solarius B.V., constitute the entire agreement between you and Solarius regarding your use of Asterune and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
12.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12.3 No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
12.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
